As per usual, I felt compelled to meet up with friends and catch some live music in a darkly lit pub. You played the Ol' Orchard Pub on de la Montagne. I was the dood to your left who clapped solo after your first song saying "I got your back!". Anyway, I just wanted to say that after reading your blog o' stuff, I dig that you're following your dreams man. You've got a great sound that feels visceral and authentic. I'll refrain from comparing your sound to other musicians (as I'm sure you hear a lot of) and just describe you to my friends as you are. I'm gonna buy your CD and hopefully that'll put another couple of bucks in your pocket for the gas tank, the beer fund or whatever. Let me know if you're doing any gigs in Ottawa.
